MDF Classic slats are a unique collection in our range that combines elegance with functionality. With their simple installation, modern design and acoustic properties, they are ideal for any interior. Not only do they add aesthetics to a space, but they also improve acoustic comfort - they are great at dampening noise, which is particularly important in rooms where you want peace and quiet.

These versatile slats will work well in a variety of locations: home, office, shops or service showrooms. With a wide range of colours and finishes, you can easily match them to any style - minimalism, Scandinavian, loft or classic elegance.

Highlights of the MDF slats in the Classic collection

The MDF Classic slats collection is a wide range of products that will satisfy the needs of individuals, companies and interior designers alike. The choice of colours is really wide - from muted anthracite, white or black to warm wood tones such as artisan oak, natural oak or walnut. Also available in elegant Sonoma oak and Wotan oak and oak veneer, ideal for classic interiors. For those who want to give their space an individual touch, we also offer slats made of raw MDF, which can be painted in any colour.

MDF Classic slats, measuring 30x40 mm, are products that are perfect for a variety of spaces - whether in homes, offices, shops, service shops, fitness studios or medical facilities. Thanks to their durability and resistance to damage, MDF slats are a solution that will last for years, decorating interiors.

Arrangement ideas with MDF slats in different interiors

The Classic collection is perfect for a variety of spaces - whether in homes, offices or commercial spaces. Thanks to their versatility, they are suitable for any room and their use depends on your needs and style of arrangement. They are ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, medical facilities, offices, shops or beauty salons. Wherever you want to add a modern touch, MDF Classic slats will be a great choice.

When it comes to the arrangement, the possibilities are really wide. MDF Classic slats are the ideal way to break up monotony. You can mount them behind the TV on the wall to add character and elegance to the interior. It is also very popular to use the slats as a partition wall, e.g. to separate the living room from the kitchenette or the workspace in the office (also home office). These types of partitions are visually light, aesthetically pleasing and have both a decorative and practical function, improving the ergonomics of the space.

MDF Classic slats are also an excellent solution for stairs - by installing them, you will not only create a unique decorative element, but also protect the space from heights, especially in homes with children or pets.

If you are looking for design ideas, there is an inspiration section on the homepage of our shop.  There you will see realisations by other customers, which will help you to design your own composition using MDF slats.

Key features and benefits of MDF Classic slats

MDF Classic slats are distinguished by their excellent workmanship and are one of the most popular products in our range. Made from the well-known MDF for durability and resilience. They do not deform over time, unlike natural wood. In addition, they do not discolour when exposed to the sun, ensuring their longevity and aesthetic appearance for many years.

One of the key strengths of MDF Classic slats is the ease of installation. Thanks to their ability to be glued to the wall with mounting adhesive, installation is quick and easy, saving time and energy. This is a solution even for people who have no experience in renovation work.

The Classic collection also offers a wide range of colours, including the option of raw MDF, which can be painted in any colour. Ideal for those who want to create something unique and personalised.

Arrangement inspirations for MDF slats in different styles

MDF slats are an excellent way to enhance interiors in many styles. Whether decorating a modern flat, a Scandinavian office or an industrial loft, slats can add character and functionality to a space. With the help of different colours, textures and lamellae arrangements, unique arrangements can be created to suit individual needs perfectly. Here are some examples of how to use MDF slats in different interior styles.

1. Modern style

Modern interiors are characterised by a minimalist approach to form, simple lines and muted colours. The MDF slats in this style complement the space perfectly, introducing elegant accents that enrich the spaciousness but do not overwhelm the interior.

Examples of arrangements:

  • In the living room or corridor, vertical slats in shades of white, grey or beige can be used to add spaciousness and harmony.
  • The use of slats on the wall behind the TV is a great way to add a modern touch. In addition, subtle LED backlighting will accentuate the effect.

The slats in wood colours with neutral tones, such as grey, beige or white, will suit a minimalist style. Such colours work well with modern interior design without overwhelming the space.

2. Scandinavian style

The Scandinavian style combines functionality with natural warmth. Interiors decorated in this style are cosy, bright and full of simplicity. The MDF slats blend in perfectly with this style, bringing harmony and lightness.

Examples of arrangements:

  • In the bedroom behind the bed, light-coloured slats in Wotan oak shades will work well to give the interior a warm and cosy feel.
  • In the kitchen or dining room, it is advisable to choose light-coloured slats to introduce spaciousness and coherence with other elements, such as wooden furniture or white walls.

Light wood tones, such as Wotan oak, or white slats will work well in the Scandinavian style, which will perfectly match the naturalness and lightness characteristic of this style. You can also opt for a matt finish, which perfectly captures the simplicity of Scandinavian design.

3. Industrial style

The industrial style is full of raw materials such as brick, metal and concrete. The MDF slats contrast perfectly with these elements, bringing warmth and cosiness to the interior, but also maintaining a raw, industrial character.

Examples of arrangements:

  • In the office or living room, darker slats in walnut tones can be used, which will contrast well with the concrete walls.
  • The dark walnut-coloured wall, combined with metal accents such as lamps and coffee tables, will add character and rawness to the space.

Darker wood tones such as walnut, artisan oak or anthracite will look best in an industrial style. The distinctly wood-textured slats will contrast perfectly with smooth, cold surfaces such as concrete or brick.

4. Classic style

The classic style is all about elegance, tradition and attention to detail. MDF slats in this style allow for subtle but distinctive architectural details to be highlighted, giving the interior a more sophisticated feel.

Examples of arrangements:

  • A living room or dining room with horizontal slats in dark wood tones or gilded accents will bring elegance and classic character.
  • The wall behind the fireplace, decorated with wooden vertical slats in a warm wood shade, will go well with classic furniture such as a leather sofa and wooden tables.

For classic interiors, it is advisable to choose dark wood tones such as walnut to add elegance. The colours gold or matt black, on the other hand, will emphasise the sophisticated character of the interior.

5. Boho style

Boho style is about freedom, creativity and a mix of different cultures. Boho-style MDF slats add a unique touch to interiors, working perfectly with plants, textiles and ethnic accessories.

Examples of arrangements:

  • In the living room, it is a good idea to use slats in different wood tones, which will be combined with a variety of textiles and potted plants.
  • In the work corner, wooden slats in natural wood tones will create a cosy atmosphere that is conducive to creative work.

For the boho style, it is best to go for natural wood tones, but with a wide variety - from light to dark. The slats combined with textiles and plants will bring harmony and a unique atmosphere to the interior.

How to fix MDF Classic slats?

1. Matching wall colour

Paint the wall to which you want to attach the MDF slats in a matching colour. A dark wall colour (shades of grey or black) is recommended as a backdrop for the appearance of the wooden slats.

2. Mark the position of the wooden slats

Use a thin pen to mark the correct position where you want to place the first slat. Note: the position of the first slat will affect all subsequent slats.

3. Apply mounting glue to the first slat

Mounting glue should now be applied to the back of the MDF slats. Glue them neatly to the spot you marked on the wall beforehand.

4. Check the position

Check whether the wooden slats have been laid straight vertically or horizontally. It is best to use a spirit level for this purpose. If you are not satisfied, you still have the chance to correct the position before the glue dries.

5. Keep the distance

When the first slat is in place and you are satisfied, you can now mark the next wall slat positions on the wall. You can use one of the slats to measure even gaps.

6. Fix all remaining MDF slats

Continue with all the slats in exactly the same way. Always ensure the same distance between the MDF slats.
