Kee Guard® Roof Safety Guardrails
Safety at the highest levelEffective roof edge protection without drilling or interfering with the roof covering. KeeGuard® guardrails are installed on counterweights, allowing them to be used without penetrating the roof structure.
What is the KeeGuard® system?
KeeGuard® is a freestanding, modular guardrail system designed to protect the edges of flat roofs against falls from height.
The system is based on the counterweight principle — posts and guardrails are mounted on counterweights, so installation does not require drilling or interfering with the roof covering. Elements in contact with the roof are fitted with non-slip rubber pads.
The modular design allows the guardrail layout to be adapted to the shape of the roof, available space and installations located on it. The system can be used both in new buildings and when upgrading existing roofs.
KeeGuard® meets the requirements of relevant European standards for edge protection and working at height safety. This makes it a proven solution for protecting roofs in industrial and commercial buildings.

Why choose KeeGuard®?
KeeGuard® is a practical solution for protecting the edges of flat roofs. Its modular design allows the system to be adapted to different roof types and installation conditions.
No drilling into the roof
Installation on counterweights allows the roof edge to be protected without interfering with the roof covering.
Modular construction
Different variants of posts and system components allow the guardrail layout to be adapted to the specific roof.
Suitable for many roof types
The system can be used on concrete, asphalt, PVC, membrane, felt and metal roofs.
Safe protection for workers
The guardrails provide physical edge protection and can protect everyone working within the secured area at the same time.
Corrosion resistance
The metal components of the system are zinc-coated, making them suitable for demanding outdoor conditions.
Easy reconfiguration
Components can be added, replaced and reconnected when the layout of installations or the use of the roof changes.
Choose the right safety solution
We adapt the system to the roof type and available space. Below are the most commonly selected configurations.
Freestanding roof guardrails
The standard and most commonly used system configuration. The guardrail is installed along the entire roof edge and is based on the counterweight principle, without interfering with the roof covering.
Request a quote →Self-supporting guardrail — limited space
A configuration designed for roofs where the available installation width is limited, for example near existing installations or parapets.
Request a quote →Guardrails for metal roofs
A configuration designed for trapezoidal sheet metal roofs and standing seam roofs — one of the most demanding installation surfaces.

A guardrail kit designed to protect roof ladder access points and roof hatches. It includes 1.5 m sections of freestanding guardrails on both sides of the ladder and a self-closing safety gate. Compliant with EN 14122-4, which requires access to a ladder opening to be protected with guardrails on both sides (min. 1.5 m from the centreline) and a gate reducing the risk of falls. Available as a kit of pre-assembled hot-dip galvanized steel components, compatible with existing roof ladders.

The KeeGuard® system has been independently tested in accordance with a range of European and international standards and requirements concerning fall protection, guardrails and structural loads.
Frequently asked questions
Can the KeeGuard® guardrail be used as an anchorage point?
The KeeGuard® system is a collective protection solution and, as a rule, does not replace individual anchorage points. The specific application should be discussed with our technical department to ensure the solution is suitable for the characteristics of the building.
Can the KeeGuard® system be painted?
Yes. At the customer's request, the system is available with optional powder coating in the full range of RAL colours, matched to the aesthetics of the building.
Does the KeeGuard® system comply with current safety regulations in Poland and Europe?
Yes. The system complies with, among others, EN ISO 14122 Part 3 and EN 13374 Class A, while independent tests confirm that it exceeds standard European safety requirements.
How does the KeeGuard® system differ from harnesses and lifelines?
KeeGuard® provides collective protection — it protects everyone working on the roof at the same time, without requiring each worker to use individual equipment or receive training in working at height.
How can I request a quote for the KeeGuard® system?
Simply complete the contact form below and provide the approximate length of the roof edge and the type of roof surface. Our team will prepare an individual quotation tailored to the building.
Does KeeGuard® installation require special tools?
No. Installation is carried out using a torque wrench or hex key — no specialist tools or qualifications are required.
