Structures made from pipe fittings can be simpler than they seem, as perfectly illustrated by this project. The client created a long curtain rod mounted on a covered terrace, which plays a crucial role in sun protection. Thanks to this simple yet functional structure, the terrace has become a more comfortable place to relax, and the ability to hang curtains allows for adjusting the amount of light entering the house. In addition to improving comfort on the terrace, the curtain rod also contributes to maintaining an appropriate temperature indoors. Curtains hung on the rod can darken the interior, which reduces the amount of sunlight entering the house and helps maintain a lower temperature on hot days. This solution not only increases the functionality of the terrace but also positively affects the indoor comfort of the apartment, making it more resistant to summer heat.
