In this design, a freestanding slat wall plays a crucial role in separating the bedroom area from the rest of the apartment. Due to the small square footage and room layout, which didn't allow for creating a separate bedroom, the slat wall proved to be an ideal solution. It enables effective division of space, creating distinct zones for rest and daily activities. Thanks to this practical division, the bedroom gains privacy and separation from the rest of the apartment while not taking up valuable space. The color of the wall, which visually harmonizes with the floor panels and some of the furniture, perfectly fits into the interior aesthetics, creating a cohesive and elegant composition. This is a great example of how a slat wall can introduce a modern and functional division in small apartments, combining aesthetics with practical use of space.
